Nerdesin: Location Changer App
A Windows app that changes an iPhone's location from a computer, with no jailbreak needed.
Problem
On iOS devices, the only ways to change location were complicated jailbreaks or installing untrusted profiles. Developers, test teams and users of location-based apps had no safe alternative that didn't require an account.
Solution
I built a Windows app that changes location with a single click on a map from the computer, without touching the phone. I set up three modes: teleport, walking along a drawn route, and free movement with a joystick. For developers testing location-based apps, I added a simulation of the small GPS drift (jitter) a real device produces even when it's standing still, so test scenarios behave close to how they would in the field.
Outcome
Live as a desktop product you can try for free within five minutes of installing, with no account or jailbreak needed. Compatible with iOS 16 and later.
Nerdesin is a Windows app that lets iPhone users change their location from their computer without touching the device. It offers three modes: instantly teleporting to a point chosen by address, coordinates or on the map; walking automatically along a drawn route; and moving freely with the keyboard or a joystick. The drift simulation, which makes the GPS signal move naturally even while standing still, is one of the app's standout technical details.
