Ayda: Restaurant and Café POS System
A restaurant management system that brings the till, the kitchen display and online orders onto one screen.
Problem
In small and medium-sized cafés and restaurants, the till, the kitchen and online orders usually run on separate systems or on paper, which leads to lost orders and slow service.
Solution
I built a POS system where staff log in quickly with a PIN, the till and the kitchen display sync in real time, and online orders join the same flow. By getting kitchen display updates under 400ms, I made service noticeably faster.
Outcome
It's used live in a real café; with the till, kitchen and online orders on one screen, order confusion and waiting times have gone down.
Ayda is a till (POS) system I built for cafés and restaurants. Staff log in quickly with a PIN; an order taken at the till appears instantly on the kitchen display, and online orders are added to the same flow automatically. Real-time sync means orders don't get lost, even at the busiest times.
